Forensic Science and the Digital Printing Industry

Abstract

The aim of this presentation is to provide the audience with a better understanding of the relationship that exists between these two fields. The general approach to the forensic examination of digitally printed documents will be discussed. The interchanges between forensic methods and various industrial processes including design, manufacturing and quality control, will be outlined as well as how they might contrast with one another in their ultimate goal. Additionally, the intent is to promote a positive intellectual exchange between industry and the forensic community.
