Organic Light-Emitting Diode Displays

Abstract

Considerable progress has been made in the development of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology for display applications, leading to recent commercialization of passive-matrix displays and demonstration of activematrix full-color displays with superior characteristics such as high luminance efficiency and vivid colors. This presentation will review the recent progress in OLED material and device research and development towards full color displays.
