FAQs

Q.
How do I cite a LIM Paper?
A.

Author name, “Paper title,” Proc. IS&T London Imaging Meeting, Year, pages, DOI: [insert].

Q.
What copyright governs papers? How do I get permission to use material from a paper?
A.

IS&T proceedings papers are free to access, but governed by different copyright restrictions depending on the year published.

Generally anything prior to 2016 has an IS&T copyright and permission to reprint text/graphics must be requested via info@imaging.org. After 2016, IS&T increasingly began allowing CCBY and other copyright options. These are noted on the paper's PDF.

If you are in doubt, please contact info@imaging.org.

Q.
What is the status of the Digital Library?
A.

IS&T is currently updating its Digital Library to this new platform. We are refining the navigation and search options. Your patience while we do this is much appreciated, but so is your input. Have ideas for how we can improve the DL? See an error? Send corrections to webmaster@imaging.org

Q.
Are all Digital Library items free to access?
A.

Papers from IS&T proceedings and the Journal of Perceptual Imaging (JPI) are free to access, but are not strictly OA. See individual paper for details.

You must have a subscription to access non-OA papers from the Journal of Imaging Science and Technology (JIST). IS&T Members may select an online subscription to JIST as one of their membership benefits.
