Abstract

The aim of this study is to demonstrate that the perceived quality of a filtered image reflects its degree of correspondence to both the original image and to the memorized reality. Differents descriptors are given to prove that there is effectively a relationship between these perceived attributes. To illustrate our purpose we have used differents color filtering operators, including some original ones in terms of color image processing.
