This paper showcases the value, interest, and impact of a long-awaited resource that serves a range of production, development, and training needs. It includes sample images of common (and uncommon) defects, causes/sources, and potential remedies Work on the Image Defects Pages includes contributions from members of the cultural heritage, and preservation fields and will continue to grow with the support and participation of members of the community throughout the world
