        <p>We propose and discuss a color-managed workflow for 3D fine-art imaging based on a lookup-table-based transformation to match colors from a laser-scanned 3D image to those from a photographic reference image. We show the significant color errors from shaded, shadowed and specular pixels
 in the reference image can be eliminated using geometric information from the laser scans.</p>
