      <abstract>
        <p>Several tools and techniques for the visualization of color gamuts have been presented in the past. We present a short survey on the topic, and conclude that tools with the possibility for interactive color adjustment in some color space are almost absent. Therefore, a new tool which
 combines the known techniques with the possibility of interactive gamut mapping is presented along with suggestions for future work. The motivation for developing the new tool is threefold: First, it will serve as an important pedagogical tool in the teaching of color engineering. Secondly,
 we believe that the tool will prove helpful in research related to color reproduction. Finally, we hope that the tool can be used in the production of high quality color images in the future.</p>
